I read about the naughtiest girl in school....about how the schools own their own mini zoo.... and since then, I want to start such mini zoos in Asian countries and that's when I started the NTU Animal Lovers' Society. I was thinking big... Long term plan to really own a mini zoo in NTU. Something like the Animal Resort concept. Open to the public. Making NTU one of the tourist attraction in Singapore.Bringing joy to little kids. Being an Animal shelter for the unwanted darlings... Not easy indeed....how to sustain? Of course lots of sponsorships will be needed. We will also need to run a little business. Allowing people to adopt pets from the shelter. The Practice of Savoring

What is Savoring? I've gained a valuable lesson recently from "The Science of Well-Being" course with Laurie Santos on Coursera. Savoring, as I've come to understand, is the straightforward practice of momentarily stepping outside of an experience to reflect upon it and wholeheartedly appreciate it while it unfolds. This concept underscores the importance of being fully present and grateful for the moments we encounter in life. I didn't know about "savoring" until today, but I already like how it works. The timing is perfect because I had a great day, and I decided earlier to write down my experiences. Weaknesses vs Self-Love: The Relationship Edition

As a solo traveler, I often find myself in the company of younger travelers in their twenties. When we play the "guess my age" game, I consistently find myself pegged in my mid-20s, a whole decade younger than my actual age. Today, as I gaze into the mirror, I can't help but notice the emergence of clear wrinkles on my face. I see a weary countenance, and health issues have begun to make their presence felt. My frustration mounts. I remain single. Just yesterday, a friend suggested that it's because I haven't been actively seeking a relationship. I've gone on numerous dates, but those with whom I felt a deep connection invariably turned out to be unfaithful or uninterested in a committed relationship.
